Home Theater Tech Assistant
Home Sweet Home Theatre, a growing A/V and Communication Systems Integrator located on the Illinois Wisconsin Border, has immediate opening for Installation Technician Assistants.
Candidates will be helping install basic and advanced home theaters, Wall mounting TV systems, DSS systems, in-wall/on-wall speakers, IR systems, volume controls/keypads, setup of after market and MFG remote controls, off air antennas, telephone lines, intercoms, and whole-house audio systems. This position covers installations located in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee. All applicants must have be able to pass a background check, a drug test and be willing to work as needed as the workload dictates, which may include nights and weekends.
The Ideal candidate will be: goal oriented, a proven self starter, motivated, possess outstanding customer service skills, and have a careful attention to detail.
Job Skills Required:
Previous installation of new and pre-existing construction is a plus. Good communication and customer service skills are extremely important. You must have the ability to operate small equipment properly and safely. Read and comprehend service manuals; understand and carry out oral and written instructions; and lift equipment up to 75lbs.
