POSITION SUMMARY:

You are an exceptionally talented Creative/Design Manager with a passion for digital design and development, a well-rounded background in managing teams, creating conceptual solutions, and excited about the opportunity to innovate the digital retail space for CVS/pharmacy. The Creative Manager bridges the relationship between in-house creative, marketing business partners 
and external resources. As part of the creative team, the Creative Manager will report to the Creative Director, Digital and oversee integrated marketing and digital advertising initiatives across all CVS/pharmacy digital channels ( cvs.com, email, mobile, social media). The Design Manager will motivate, mentor and manage a team of designers, front-end developers and production artists, and act as technical resource for team and non-technical business leaders.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful, collaborative team player with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and time management skills are required. Must be well organized and be able to present to senior leadership, communicate ideas, and develop concepts and strategies. She/he must be able to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment, manage multiple projects, and develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners. A plus if you have a background in e-commerce, email design, front-end development and marketing and/or user experience and interaction design. Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with copy partners and creating/updating style guidelines.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises a team of 6-10, as well as manage external resources

Plays a lead role in the development, design and execution of a wide variety of new and innovative creative across multiple digital media platforms.

Works closely with internal business leaders to develop and execute impactful solutions for marketing communications programs.

Partner with team members to develop strong, compelling executions that support brand strategy and adhere to coding standards and guidelines.

Presents Design concepts, serving as manager in formal meetings with senior and management level team members, for design review and approval.

Plans and monitors projects and tasks to meet or exceed expectations, prioritizes projects and effectively manages design team workflow. Promotes cooperation and good working relationships among team members. Required Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A solid skill set in traditional and digital design, and production process from concept to production, including

developing wireframes, mock ups, designing and building

• Superior conceptual ideas and ability to translate through development & execution

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

• Advanced knowledge HTML, XHTML, CSS and an understanding of ASP, PHP and Javascript

• Effective communication (oral and written) skills, time management and the ability to work positively under pressure

• Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with internal & external partners

• Strong attention to detail

• Portfolio link or samples must be provided for consideration

• Leadership skills to provide direction to junior and senior team members

Preferred Qualifications:

8-10 years experience (in-house creative or agency a plus) Education:

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
