The Provider Data Consultant is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Provider Data Consultants develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles. More of a project management role.
 
Primary Responsibilities:



  • Act as PCDM key point of contact for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)


  • Implement a consistently deployed approach to UAT; establish and evolve formal QA processes


  • Oversee all aspects of Testing including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met


  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures


  • Ensure established requirements and objectives are met within the planned time frame


  • Identify resources required to test


  • Drive and coordinate communications to testers, IT, business owners and management


  • Drive UAT to completion by planning and coordinating all deliverables for UAT, E2E and regression


  • Drive issues to resolution through collaboration with IT and business contacts


  • Support activities related to the Migrations; this would include working closely with assigned health plan representatives, IT project managers, Migration Project Managers and Business Analysts to drive success


  • Maintain required documentation/artifacts for testing


  • Maintain familiarity with PRD and SSD


  • Lead and mentor test team members


  • Participate in project closure activities

**Must be able to work evenings and weekends when required**

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience


  • 2+ years of experience in managing cross functional projects and making presentations


  • 1+ years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test script development


  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills


  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change


  • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:




  • Provider loading experience within NDB with downstream load to Cosmos ,UNET and Facets


  • 1+ years of experience working with HP Application Lifecycle Management software or another defect management tracking application


  • Microsoft Access experience


  • Project management experience
