Intake RN Part Time - Full-time / Part-time

The Intake RN is responsible for being able to perform all aspects of the admission process including efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls, knowledge of and communication with referral sources, providing hospital and program information to individuals, agencies, facilities and professionals making outside referrals, when appropriate assessing and triaging an individual's mental health status, making patient safety and level of care recommendations to physicians, identifying insurance benefits, pre-certification of patient care completing all admission requirements, communicating patient safety concerns and pertinent information to unit nursing staff and documenting all necessary information in computer system. This is a part-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule for this position is every Wednesday from 2 pm to 2 am, and every other Saturday and Sunday7 am to 7 pm

RN licensure from an accredited school

Two years experience in the mental health field, preferred
