Position Description
Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Development, Talent Management, HR Analytics, and OD leadership team. This role will independently perform complex and diverse administrative duties and will interface with senior leadership and other high-level contacts both within and outside Medtronic.
Position Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Development, Talent Management, HR Analytics, and OD leadership team. This role will independently perform complex and diverse administrative duties and will interface with senior leadership and other high-level contacts both within and outside Medtronic.
Daily activities include interaction with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information requiring considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Takes initiative and seeks out opportunities to make a difference.
- Manage complex travel plans, calendar and scheduling (often managing international time zones and complexities)
-Provide meeting coordination and support for large and small meetings
-Maintain filing systems, order supplies and equipment and manage
expense reporting and monitor cost center budget, ensures department bills are processed in a timely manner
-Serve as a key point of contact for other MDT departments and customers
-Multi-task and manage through issues proactively. Provide appropriate information to contacts (handle questions, issues and follow ups)
-Serve as an information resource on organizational practices, policies and procedures
-Provides data and technical support to the Leadership Team
-Attends HR Leadership Team Meetings, taking notes on discussion points and action items- ensuring proper follow through.
-Provides project support to leaders and other members of the team. May also support daily projects with an advanced proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Power Point.
-Solves problems of moderate scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
-Maintain high level of confidentiality
Basic Qualifications
-High School Diploma or GED.
-5+ years of administrative experience
-Experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
-Associate Degree
- Experience in travel planning, meeting/calendar coordination.
-Workday experience
-Proven ability to prioritize and take direction from multiple sources.
-Strong organizational skills
-Strong problem solving and ability to multi-task.
-Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
-Strong attention to detail
-Strong customer service focus.
-Self-motivated, flexible, quick learner, team player.
-Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
