Purpose and Scope: Responsible
for production of all adopted products through delivery. Manage final cost,
placement, delivery, including communication of product changes. Accountable for on time delivery issues, and
claim resolution.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor development chart to ensure timely
delivery of proto, sales, fit and top samples.- Prepare and maintain cost logs.- Monitor and track approvals throughout the
production process.- Work proactively, anticipating any issues that
may impact delivery prices.- Attend seasonal handoffs, order and track
supplies for proto and sales samples.- Identify any issues after handoff meetings
e.g. long lead times, minimums issues that mills might not be able to achieve.- Attend fittings and monitor fit approval
process.- Understand and analyze implications of fit
changes.- Assist in preparing for weekly meetings with
Design and Merchandising.- Ability to manage and oversee a team.
Qualifications:- College degree preferred.- 4-6 years experience in Production related
area and in a garment manufacturing & sourcing environment.- Knowledge of Production trade regulations,
testing protocol. Product integrity, production cycle timeline, fabric and
garment construction.- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, GFE+,
PLM.- Excellent math and calculation skills.- Excellent organization skills and attention
to detail.- Strong communication and follow up skills.- Ability to negotiate.- Strong analytical skills.
