These fashion-savvy trendsetters work together to make sure we have the right merchandise in the right place at the right time. They keep our customers coming back for more!

A day in the life…

The ideal regional beauty director will successfully maximize sales volume and deliver merchandise strategies though skill building, coaching and the education of our sales advisors and, implement merchandise strategy at the store level though customer events and PR.

• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the expectations, needs and desire of the customer
• Ensure clear, concise communication on role expectations and effectiveness of a beauty advisor
• Teach division-specific directive selling
• Support the store level event planning and execution
• Create effective partnerships with vendor partners for superior implementation of programs and events
• Execute department-specific presentation standards through teaching and coaching

You own this if you have…

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum three years retail buying experience
• Minimum two years retail experience interacting directly with the customer
• Nordstrom experience preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of retail and the service environment of Nordstrom
• Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
