As a Manager of Business Analytics, you will support various strategic initiatives across Marketing, eCommerce, Merchandising/Inventory, Pricing, etc. functions. We are looking for a Manager to provide leadership and coordination in member strategy formulation and execution, and use member data to drive significant growth of SHC business. The role will also have an emphasis on processes and system solutions to identify member behavior patterns and channel this data/information to drive personalized content and offer decisions to improve member experience. The breadth of projects will span Sears, Kmart, ShopYourWay and our online Marketplace.

Responsibilities:

Manage data and provide analytics support for key ShopYourWay initiatives Use analytical methods to drive targeted promotional activities across various channels and member touch-points Develops necessary financial models and scenarios that drive strategy recommendations Scope out and execute special projects that advance the transformation strategy in key business units -- resulting in near-term and sustainable profit impact Set up on-going reporting and tracking dashboards to continuously monitor impact Communicates findings and recommendations to leadership and works in an advisory capacity to implement recommendations Execute analytics projects within aggressive timelines

Experience/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree in engineering/computer science/economics or related field preferred 3 to 7 years of experience in analytics, strategy consulting, or in-house strategy group required Ability to apply analytical rigor to complex business issues and translates customer insights into financially viable retail initiatives Leader with and without direct authority Action and results driven Highly skilled in problem solving and able to convey key initiatives to senior-level management Understands finance and accounting and able to critically analyze financial statements Ability to clearly communicate with and persuasively present to a wide variety of audiences Exceptional written communication Able to work independently but understands when to seek support Strong organizational skills Proficient in Excel (required), SQL (required), SAS (preferred)
