A manufacturing company in Rancho Santa Margarita is seeking a Production Supervisor. The environment is a clean, process oriented environment. The Production Supervisor role oversees the finishing department (micro-part polishing, heat-treating and deburring). We are looking for someone who can manage and supervise people, ensure adherence to process and assume manpower projection planning to meet order delivery commitment dates.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with all departments and have excellent communication skills. This is a temp-to-hire position and compensation is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Project in advance the manpower needed for each job assignment
- Direct a department of approximately 20 people
- Assign duties based on employee count for the day
- Adjust manpower plan to meet on-time delivery in the event of absenteeism
Qualifications:
- Supervisor experience is preferred
- Manufacturing background is helpful
- Must possess strong people management and communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic PC skills
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
