Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

The Professional Practices Analytics team is responsible for developing actionable business insights from CVS' vast data assets.This position will focus primarily on statistical analysis related to Professional Practices, Quality Assurance and Patient Safety within the retail pharmacy.This position requires an individual who can manage multiple high profile work streams with a sense of urgency and is accountable for delivering high quality results.The successful applicant will work on cross-functional teams within the organization and will work closely with colleagues in Pharmacy Operations, Analytics, Compliance, and Legal.

The candidate selected for this position will be a leading contributor in the development and production of complex analytics and reporting suites that will inform critical decisions affecting the retail pharmacy business. The day-to-day experience of the role will vary -- developing and maintaining data models that monitor controlled substance prescribing and dispensing, conducting root cause analysis on regulatory issues within the retail pharmacy, developing metrics and dashboards for field teams and senior leadership, and developing hypotheses and conducting analyses on complex issues related to stores, prescribers, and patients. This position requires strong exploratory data analysis skills and the ability to structure analyses of complex problems that may not be fully defined.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and must be able to independently conduct analysis and drive strategic actionable insights and influence leadership.

Required Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years data modeling or analytics with SQL, SAS, Tableau and/or other advanced analytical tools.

2. Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint essential.

3. High level of independent judgment and initiative required

4. Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent

5. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels

6. Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Some programming experience (e.g., Python)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience). Major in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related STEM field a plus. Business Overview:
