Senior Associate Quality Control needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Woburn, MA.
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Experience performing environmental monitoring
- At least two (2) years previous experience in a microbiology lab in the biotech field
- GMP experience in quality
What You'll Be Doing:
- Performing routine procedures and testing in support of the Environmental and Clean Utility Microbiological Monitoring programs.
- Performing routine laboratory procedures, such as bioburden and endotoxin sample testing, compendial (membrane filtration and kinetic chromogenic) and non-compendial test methods, environmental monitoring and sampling (laser particle counter / viable air sampler / contact plates), utility water (WFI, etc) sample collection, and utility compressed air and gas collection.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Microbial identification, gram stain, growth promotion and general micro lab tasks.
- Will also be responsible for documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, reviewing, and entering data.
- Additional responsibilities include providing and communicating results, maintaining / operating specialized equipment, and initiating and / or implementing changes in controlled documents.
- Must learn and comply with safety guidelines, GLP, and cGMPs / CFRs which includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, written procedures, building monitoring systems, and laboratory log books.
- Previous micro lab experience in GMP settings a must.

- Bachelors degree is a minimum in the science related field
