Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Intake of members or managing the Admission/Discharge information, post-notification.
  • Working with hospitals and the Clinical team, including managing incoming calls, managing requests for services from Providers and/or members, and providing information on available Network services.
  • Transferring members, as appropriate, to Clinical staff.
  • Manage the Referrals process, processing Incoming and Outgoing referrals, and Prior Authorizations, including Intake, Notification and Census roles.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 4+ years of Professional experience in an Office setting.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Clerical or Administrator work.
  • Ability to work within Microsoft Word and Excel to create correspondence, perform data entry, and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
  • 6+ months experience with Medicaid/Medicare.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Healthcare Customer Service or in a Medicare and/or Medicaid environment.
  • ICD-9 and CPT Coding experience.
  • High volume Call Center experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
