Provide technical leadership for a project that evolves Content Operations ability to automate video management and monitoring. Role requires a strong technical background as well as people leadership.
Essential Job Functions:
-Perform software engineering functions including design, planning, implementation, testing and support
-Provide technical leadership to group of developers who participate in the implementation and testing of the project
-Expand automation concepts to other vendor solutions
-Advise on strategic vision for software stack supporting automation
Preferred Qualifications:
-10+ years of software development
-7+ years of technical leadership in a software development environment
-Experience with Agile/Scrum, Iterative/Incremental Development, TDD, and Continuous-Integration
-Expert knowledge of at least one of ruby, python, or golang
-Experience with node.js a plus
-Work and communicate well with others in a team environment
-Demonstrate a high standard of work ethics.
-Expert understanding of networking protocols and concepts
-Expert understanding of OOAD principles
-Solid understanding of TCP/IP
-Familiarity with MPEG
-Familiarity with Transport Streams
