A successful Business Operations Analyst will have the following:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Finance, Business, or Industrial Engineering; or 3 plus years related experience and/or trianing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Strong business, analytical, communications, and/or marketing experience; advanced skills in MS Office Suite (especially Excel), Access skills a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate and interact cross-functionally with multiple levels of management.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills; results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and redefined priorities.
  • Self starter with ability to be a strong team player and work independently.

The Business Operations Analyst gathers, tracks, and analyzes business data and must be able to identify areas of improvement. The ideal candidate will be numbers-driven and have an analytic mind. Ability to effectively interpret results and communicate to various levels of the organization to support internal change is a must.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Regularly gathers, tracks, and analyzes business data, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Communicates results and suggestions to upper management.
  • Serves as a thought leader in developing and executing best in class customer service practices, and provides operational support for ongoing development and process improvement initiatives.
  • Conducts job analysis and documentation. Provides on-going analytical support for employee idea engine.
  • Plans and coordinates the administration of new processes and plans.
  • Researches and recommends new and/or enhancements to existing programs.
  • Manages communication between stake holders, various internal departments, and key participants to process or program changes.
