Sodexo is seeking an experienced Custodial Manager 1 of Environmental Services for Mayo Clinic Health System -- Long term care facilities. The Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, GA is comprised of the Main hospital, 2 Long Term Care facilities and 27 outlying facilities. The system is a not-for-profit, community-based health care organization that offers preventive, primary and acute hospital care, as well as cancer care, a heart center, wellness and rehabilitation services, and much more. Our services provide care for residents throughout the central Georgia area.

The Custodial Manager role will transition, lead, develop and train a team of 10+ FTEs with an emphasis on client satisfaction at all times. The ideal candidate for this position will have solid knowledge of Sodexo ES Systems and processes including FOSS, CARES, ENGAGE, TRAKKAR, UOS, Gold Check and Black Light inspections. High energy for a fast paced environment. Must have a proven track record in driving 3rd party patient satisfaction outcomes, HCHAPS scores and employee engagement. Must be familiar with Joint Commission and Hazmat Standards.

Must be able to drive the company van and manage hourly scheduling of staff at various locations.

This is primarily a 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) position, however, must be flexible. The Custodial Manager will be required to participate in a rotational schedule involving weekends and holidays as needed.

Position Summary

Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to General Manager or Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
