Cable Assembly - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek's client is currently seeking a cable assembler to add to their team. Candidates will be working on custom cable projects and will typically be completing the project from start to finish. Candidates should be available to work a 6 month contract as the company has projects through that time frame but may not be able to support a candidate long term in this role. Candidates should ideally come from an electronics background. Candidates will be completing duties including the following:
-measuring and cutting the wire according to spec
-create and attach labels for each project
-wrap wires if necessary
-crimping cables
-soldering cups
-attach crimp pins
-self-check work while completing the projects

This job will be at a custom cable shop which typically completes batches of about 50 cables. Candidates must be able to complete the project from start to finish.

This job will be 1st shift with limited overtime.
