Senior Production Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Global Manufacturing Facility is adding a SR. PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE to its team in Bedford, MA. GENERAL SUMMARY * Performs manual and administrative duties related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and the distribution of materials, parts, and equipment. * Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment using knowledge of shipping practices, procedures, rates, routes and available transportation. * These general warehouse duties include the loading and unloading of trailers with power jacks and or pallet jacks. * Performs inspection of purchased parts, materials, components and equipment as materials are received from vendors or subcontractors. * Determines or assists in determining methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Forklift and Power Jack proficiency * Good knowledge of the job, and company policies and principles. Limited understanding of the technical aspects of the job. * Projects assigned are routine. Applies standard policies and procedures. Assignments require some basic problem resolution. * Works under general supervision. Instructions given for routine work. Detailed instructions given for new assignments. SKILLS * Communication skills. * Analytical ability. * Basic computer skills. * ESD, 5S, SAP skills are a plus.
