Construction Equipment Mechanic

We are actively looking to hire an additional Mechanic to the shop in just southwest of Monticello MN. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity. Position is open because of consistant growth and addition of equipment.
- 100% of the work is local in the shop with no travel.
- 40-50 hours worked a week mon-fri
- Will be doing 90% mechanic work on equipment that shop owns and 10% projects for outside clients equipment.
- Will primarily be construction / heavy equipment such as: aerial trucks for lineman work, directional bores, excavation equipment, trucks, etc.
- Will be working on all makes & models of heavy truck, air brake, diesel engine, drive train and A/C.
How are the contractors completing the work? (by hand, hand tools, etc.) - Will be using a wide variety of hand and power tools to do the work. 33% power tools, 33% hand tools, 33% by hand.
