Job Description:
  • Tier 1-2 phone and site support to remote users and remote sites
  • Ability to troubleshoot in small to large scale enterprise level environments
  • Monitor call queues for break/fix and request calls
    • Monitor closed calls to be sure that satisfactory resolutions are being provided
  • Provide technical support, as required, for all micro computers and network connectivity for GATE Petroleum and its subsidiaries
  • Provide technical support, as required, for all mobile devices for GATE Petroleum and its subsidiaries.
  • Perform moves/add/changes to PBX phone switch (Siemens)
  • Assist with analyzing, monitoring, specifying and maintaining all LANs/WANs to insure maximum response and up time
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining backups for GATE Petroleum and its subsidiaries
  • Assist in the evaluation, recommendation, configuration, implementation, maintenance and support of all hardware, software, wiring for Networking Equipment, servers, personal computers, and printers
  • Assist in maintaining inventory tracking for all corporate micro computer hardware and software
  • Assist in providing technical support and maintenance for voice/fax systems for GATE Petroleum and its subsidiaries.
  • Maintain anti-virus clients and servers for GATE Petroleum and its subsidiaries
  • Provide ongoing user support
  • Assist with user training, when required
  • Maintain the confidentiality of data
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Education and Experience:
  • 4-6 years troubleshooting PC hardware, software, O/S, network protocols, and remote access.
  • 1-2 years in managing small to medium projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
