Software Test

Software unit tests exist in the Parasoft test tool environment and need to be augmented with the specific tasking identified above. The processes (such as peer review), standards, tools, and documentation required is typical and defined in a software development plan that will be provided. Unit testing can take place on the host hardware (versus on a target computer).

Specific tasking includes:

• Document expected and actual test results on a subset of the test cases.
• Test boundary conditions at the software unit test level.
• Test using realistic inputs (rather than generated or null-case inputs).
• The software is a combination of C++ and Java and must meet CENELEC (European standards body) standards for SIL-2 and SIL-3 safety levels. The majority of the software was developed in accordance with the safety requirements, but some needs to have further unit testing.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Software Test experience
• Bachelor Degree (strongly preferred)
• Skilled in C and C++
• Must have a security clearance (within last 24 months)
