Collections - Full-time / Part-time

Responsible for reaching out to customers to collect payments for overdue payments.The Collector's position requires extensive phone communication with the day to day collections of all delinquent accounts. Patient and courteous people skills and communications are demonstrated in the maintenance and servicing of new and existing accounts.

Daily duties include:

1.Call customers from assigned list
2.Locate customers using tools/skip tracing
3.Utilize computer system for note taking
4.Call customers via phone
5.Inform Clients of overall account status
6.Attempt to Collect past due payments
7.Ensure all customer information on computer is correct
8.Listen to customers rfd(reason for delinquency) to determine if debt can be collected and how
9.Establish repayment plans as required

Need to make 70-80 calls per day to for account portfolio.

Work Environment:

Team environment - will be working in cubicles within collections department. Will have daily team meetings, and will have coaching opportunities with team leads and department supervisor.
Maximum efficiency is needed in this role.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate has previous collections and customer service experience. Must be assertive, but display compassion - work well in large team environment

Hours and Pay

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00am. Ability to work a flexible work week including (2-3) evenings until 8:30PM as well as alternating Saturday shifts from (9:00am to 5:00pm).
