Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Hiring Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a 2-3 month contract assignment.

The position is an electro-mechanical assembly/cable assembly /solder position in the production department. The position generally requires manual assembly, cable assembly, and hand soldering in accordance with internal job instructions and verbal instructions. Must have experience working with hand tools.

Requirements:
* Component preparation.
* Printed circuit board assembly.
* Mechanical assembly.
* Cable assembly.
* Electrical assembly.
* Familiarization or certification in standards J-STD-001, IPC-a-610, IPC-WHMA-620.
* Through-hole and surface mount hand soldering.
* Solder rework and touch-up.
* Pack/ship.
* Kit/stock.
* AOI operator.
* Conformal coat machine operation.
* Teamwork.
* Participate in production improvement projects.

Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in an electronic assembly environment

-MUST be able to read/interpret assembly drawings

-J-STD and IPC certifications preferred

Drug test and background check required upon job offer.
