SHIFT: 12HOUR, Night EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part Time HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 32 JOB ID: 1500013320
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Restorative CNA supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care and actively participates as a team member in the systems, functions and activities of the unit/department. The Restorative CNA helps provide a resident-specific restorative program designed and supervised by both the rehabilitation and nursing disciplines. The restorative program specific to the Sub-Acute Unit seeks to promote the highest level of functioning in the residents' ADLs and mobility. In some cases, the goal may be to maintain or to prevent deterioration of resident function.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school education
Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
Nurse Assistant Certificate and CPR certification
Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately, establish and maintain effective working relationships, operate IVAC thermometer, vital check machine, blood pressure cuff and have knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures
Six (6) months recent hospital or long term care facility experience as CNA or RNA preferred
Successful completion of RNA course preferred
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
