QA Inspector - San Bernardino, CA B09

Description

Medline Industries has an opportunity available for a QC Inspector based out of our San Bernardino, CA Branch and traveling to our Branch located in Temecula, CA.

Position responsibilities include:

Perform inspection and testing of purchased and manufactured materials and products manufactured by or for Medline Industries, Inc., per approved inspection procedures.
Complete inspection activities and documentation as required per applicable inspection procedures and training on a timely basis.
Train and ensure branch personnel Compliance with Quality System Regulation (QSR), Department of Health/ Board of Pharmacy, and Medline policies, procedures and work rules.
Assure that inbound shipments are from properly licensed vendors and licenses are on file.
Interface with Corporate RA to obtain licenses from unlicensed suppliers.
Monitor approved documents and identify errors or omissions for correction.
Operate test equipment and perform simple measurement activities.
Perform Stock Checks.
Rework inventory when requested.
Will be traveling to the Temecula, CA Branch approximately 2 days per week.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 years of QC inspection experience required. Prior experience as a QC Inspector in a regulated industry setting is desirable.
Ability to work efficiently and productively with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Working knowledge of ANSI/ ASQC –Current revision.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent follow up skills.
Detail oriented. Good organizational skills.
Good attendance record and ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be flexible to travel between the San Bernardino and Temecula, California branches.
Must be able to travel from state to state for training or customer visits when needed.
Ability to use simple measurement tools such as a ruler, caliper, eyeglass comparator, micrometer, etc.
Basic math skills. Good reading and comprehension skills. Some college preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
