We are currently looking for Retail Merchandisers to fill multiple positions in your area!

These projects involve the placement and assembly of selling fixtures, adjustment of shelves, and arrangement and placement of products on the shelves for store remodels/resets and store openings for a leading retail chain. The expected work hours for this position are as follows: 10 consecutive days, shifts are 9PM to 6AM or 7AM to 4PM. Weekends are required and holidays may also be required.

This position requires willingness to travel to various store locations.

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Ability to comprehend planogram terminology and components of a planogram after completing Retail Merchandiser training Merchandising, Reset or Retail experience preferred
    • Ability to follow RGIS Safety Guidelines and Procedures at all times
    • Must be able to meet physical requirements to work 8 to12 hour shifts, frequent standing, bending, stooping and walking in a retail environment
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
    • Must have positive attitude and ability to understand and take direction
    • Must be dependable and trustworthy
    • Must be punctual - arrive to work at the appropriate time and begin work within the designated hour
    • Must have access to reliable transportation
    • Must have a valid email address with access to the internet
    • Must be available to work various hours, including overnight hours, based on requirements of clients.
    • Presents a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
    • Ability to maintain accurate timesheets for RGIS and the customer


    Required Project Duties:
    • Assist with unloading and sorting of fixture/component trailers, both on site and off site throughout project
    • Assist in relocating gondolas, wall fixtures, racks into new locations
    • Assist in building any new fixtures, racks, etc per new layout
    • Clean all shelves, base decks, top rails, and pegboard in each planogram section
    • Set shelves to proper height as indicated on the planograms
    • Re-locate planograms to new location in store per new layout
    • Install clear plastic label holders on shelf fronts, where required
    • Install new product labels in clear plastic holders, where required
    • Label section per planogram detail page, verifying labels, product codes and/or parts numbers
    • Install product dividers and additional merchandising fixtures such as racks, front rails, signage, etc., per the planogram
    • Install pegs per planogram
    • Install individual clear plastic strips on peg flip fronts, where required
    • Accurately backfill product (up to 50 lbs.) in new planogram locations
    • Follow procedures for Overstock and Not on Planogram merchandise per client directive
    • Place trash and cardboard in designated area per client directive
    • Fill out the planogram sign-off page accurately and completely
    • Assist in the installation of graphics throughout project location, where required
    • Maintain a clean and shop-able area at all times
    • Provide customer service to the store customers
    • Additional reset project duties as required

    Age Requirements
    • 18 years of age

    Experience or Knowledge Requirements
    • Prior teamwork experience in a customer service setting preferred.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure with whole numbers, common fractions and decimals using a calculator or 10-key audit.
