Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Rush Copley Medical Center located in Aurora, IL (nearest metro area Naperville, IL). Rush Copley Medical Center is a leading provider of health services to the Fox Valley Region.
Position reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the ideal candidate will:
Provide in-patient clinical care to all areas as needed Provide out-patient nutrition counseling in an accredited Diabetes Center Be a Registered Dietitian with Illinois licensure, having 2 or more years acute care clinical experience Certified Diabetes Educator preferred not required Spanish speaking ability a plus for the education of patient population

Position Summary
Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
