POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Team Member under the direction of the Maintenance Coach helps maintain buildings, grounds, and power equipment,
In a clean, safe, and presentable manner. Any additional tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. No written counseling's within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months.
2. Ability to perform essential job functions without any restrictions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple tasks.
2. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
3. Welding, fabrication, electronic, or automotive experience a plus.
4. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and schematics a plus.
5. Able to lift and move parts, supplies and tools, up to as much as 70 lbs.
6. Basic math skills needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Assist in Crown Preventative Maintenance and repairs.
2. Assist in conveyor Preventative Maintenance and repairs.
3. Assist in fabrication and insulation projects.
4. Round up power equipment for maintenance service.
5. Inventory on oil cabinets and relay ordering info to Maintenance Clerk.
6. Take daily inventory on all consumable items.
7. Fill oilers as needed on the sorter.
Note: This position is eligible for the "Excellence" award.
