Home Manager (At Risk Youth) - Full-time / Part-time

New Jersey MENTOR is seeking a Home Manager to manage the day to day activities, budgets and schedules for one or more homes. Home Managers ensure all consumers are properly managed and cared for, including implementing programs and services for the consumers. The Home Manager also manages, hires, trains and schedule staff; and coordinates activities and appointments of individuals served and maintains records.

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or Special Education.
• One to two years of related experience servicing the at-risk youth population
• Posses leadership qualities and good time management
• Must have experience effectively managing employees, and conduct employee trainings
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Must have skills and trainings to include verbal de-escalation, identifying triggers, safe crisis management and restraints, Medication Administration and CPR/FA.
• Must have valid driver’s license in good standing
• Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
• Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
• Other education and experience plus licensure as required by state
