FAA Assembly Mechanic II Position

The Phoenix Repair and Overhaul Center for Honeywell is looking for qualified Swing Shift Mechanic to repair Honeywell Turbofan Engines. Candidate will on occasion be required to stage Turbofan engines & repair engines discrepancies at the main plant test facility. Disassemble and assemble engines at R&O. Qualified candidates will be familiar with the Repair and Overhaul Manual, Component Maintenance Manual, and written instructions. Fill out all paperwork and SAP accurately as required. Be detail-oriented, self-starters who also are good team workers capable of training others. Candidates must be flexible with shift to include nights and weekends.

**MUST provide own tools and tool box**

* Training will be OJT (on the job) during first or second shift hours.

* Work Schedule: 2nd Shift - 2:00PM -10:30PM

** Steel Toes and Safety Glasses are required

Basic Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 3 years of mechanical experience

* US Citizen due to export compliance

Additional Qualifications:

Power plant License

* 2-5 years minimum turbofan experience is preferred, preferably in TFE, CFE, TPE, HTF, ATF engines.

* Above average working knowledge of SAP, specifically how it applies to engine processing and repair.

* Familiarity with blueprints and OEM inspection/repair manuals is highly desired

* Knowledge of Honeywell Turbofan Engines CFE, TFE, HTF, ATF, and TPE is required
