Sample Maker - Full-time / Part-time

This person will be doing routine batch work, testing, and shipping. This role is a cross between a production assistant and a laboratory technician.

The R&D Chemist will develop a batch, then this invidual will:

• Be the host of all sample batches.
• Make subsequent batches of certain material (based on a product list created by the chemist).
• Perform QC testing (viscosity, flow characteristics, and thermal analysis).
• Package into jars and syringes.
• Read batch tickets with accuracy.
• Ship the orders.
• Enter data into Microsoft Excel.
• Be comfortable with email communication.
• Each batch takes approx. 3 hours so they will work on 1-3 batches per day.

Qualifications:

• Batch experience preferred
• Chemical experience preferred
• Experience with scales
• Can operate Microsoft Excel
• Good attention to detail
• Science background is a plus
