Department Profile:

This department delivers high quality, strategic initiatives and processes that enable the cross-functional administration of the Medicare program while ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, membership and revenue growth. We support all areas of the Medicare Business Line. The primary focus for our intern(s) this year will be Sales and Marketing projects that requires technical support in many cases.

Intern Project Summary:

Provides technical and administrative support to project manager(s). Formats documentation, including creation of project templates and reports. Act as SharePoint Administrator and Document Manager of project materials. Support project meetings with meeting set up, agenda creation, roll call, meeting notes and action items. Maintain risk logs and ensure all action items are captured and closed with appropriate documentation. Publish project status reports and work with team members to gather information to ensure accurate status. Create and update project plans, project weekly reporting, and SharePoint technical site support. Uses variety of software tools sufficiently to support all aspects of the project. Expert knowledge of SharePoint, MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Ability to resolve problems without delay and/or to seek managerial intervention and operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.

The intern will support projects that involve sales and marketing operations to drive membership growth and cost reduction.

* Pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year.

* Bachelor's degree required.

License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:

* Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.

* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3.0 GPA or above

* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

* Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
