Job Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION : Performing duties of a Warehouse Associate and operating and maintaining delivery trucks. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1. Operates fork lift, performs preventive maintenance, and makes minor repairs to warehouse. 2. Receives, unloads and warehouses products and/or chemicals. 3. Performs everyday maintenance assignments, such as sweeping and cleaning warehouse floors. 4. Assists the patrons with providing information in new and complimentary products. Communicates the benefits of additional products. 5. Assists in taking physical inventory and alerts manager when inventories run low. 6. Operates 10 wheel delivery trucks with piggy back type fork lift. 7. Checks incoming shipments, verifies with loading sheet. 8. Adheres to SS No Tolerance Policy on Safety and Environment. 9. Performs other duties as assigned, such as making deliveries and performing service work. 10. Prepares proper truck reports and records, including truck maintenance records as required.
- High school graduate or related work experience
- Requires forklift certification.
- CDL license, Class B required.
- Must be capable of handling and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
