About this job
The CNA is a non-licensed attendant who contributes to the patient care process by assisting with activities of daily living; performing basic patient care activities and maintaining a safe, clean environment for individually assigned patients. The CNA is under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse. The CNA considers the special needs of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient in performing appropriate interventions.
Qualifications and Regulatory Requirements:
* High school graduate, or GED equivalent.
* Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program (CNA).
* Demonstrates effective written and verbal communications skills.
* BLS certification.
Skills:
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Demonstrates ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
* Demonstrates ability to perform basic math skills.
