About this job

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

Execute nightly logistical planning process - optimization review, solution feedback to NetOps Team, service compliance

Engagement and leadership in site business and people initiatives (examples includes inclusion, safety, service, sales partnership, etc)

Direct afternoon Run Right meeting to recap relevant activities and changes prior to next day's business.

Enable cross functional support (Sales, Warehouse, Manufacturing) while meeting service commitments.

Support safety and regulatory responsibilities for the Business Unit ensuring compliance, training, accountabilities, and communication.

Support D.O.T. audit and compliance.

Demonstrated technical skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Facilitate necessary training and communication venues / meetings / calls ensuring timely solutions.

Support 2 nd Shift operations calls from customer, drivers, warehouse, with ability to solve routine calls or pass on to Traffic Leadership.

Reconcile daily off template and missing order data, providing relational data points and judgement (e.g. Pivot Table skills).

Facilitate nightly handoff process from 2 nd shift to 3 rd shift (staffing status, equipment demand, service status).

Proven ability to manage trade-off analysis, and service commitments, by managing the various needs that arise.

Ability to learn and backup other administrative roles such as needed and directed.

Support invoice accuracy, ASN compliance through effective trip planning.

Continuous leverage of Microsoft Office (2010) tools as a means for communication, tracking, and analysis to deliver expected results.

Nightly solution communication to warehouse to meet wave planning timelines.

Weekly and periodically data download for traffic KPMs, One on Ones, scorecards ect.

Skills Needed:

College degree preferred, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Operations experience considered advantageous.

Exemplifies PepsiCo values and guiding principles.

Excellent computer skills, proficient Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to learn and execute in-house computer systems (examples: ICS, DRP, IIM, PPT, IMS, OMS, TSO, OGN, REC, XPTR, XNET, PWM, WCS, SAP, Business Objects and supply chain tools).

Demonstrated history of strong organizational skills, leadership and attention to detail.

Proven Cross Functional Leadership and Communication.

High level of analytical thinking and proven troubleshooting capability.

Effective personal/team interaction, verbal, written, facilitation and customer service skills

Able to communicate with all levels of the organization and proactively lead/influence tactical and strategic planning.

Self-motivated and results oriented, requiring minimal supervision, follows through and communicates on commitments.

Global business knowledge of all aspects of product movement through the supply chain to lead/influence tactical and strategic changes.

Capability, flexibility, and willingness to learn and train other team members on system changes and new operating systems.

Customer service skills/focus, capability, willingness, and tenacity to analyze service issues at any time amid a dynamic environment and act on key actions to resolve issues.

Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously under pressure and must have a demonstrated history of decision making, strong organizational skills, leadership, attention to detail, and follow up.
