POSITION SUMMARY
The International Intern will perform a variety of duties related to the support and coordination of international sales and finance transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist International Shared Services team in the preparation of all documentation and pricing required for international bids and proposals.
2. Support sales administration team in execution of order management activity as required.
3. Support International Shared Services team in preparing for customer factory and training visits.
4. Provide information and respond to correspondence from other employees, customers, representatives, and sales managers to support international sales efforts.
5. Assemble presentation materials, including PowerPoint, overheads, and presentation binders.
6. Compile reports by retrieving and analyzing existing data from international marketing and credit files.
7. Plan and schedule work activities to complete assignments in their order of priority.
8. Assist with other special reports, projects, and duties as directed by International Shared Service staff or the Director of International Shared Services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, International Studies or related field.
* Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Willing to work year-round; part-time during school year & full-time during summer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Global Business minor or International Management emphasis.
* Foreign language preferably in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, French, or German.
* Outstanding communication, organization, team, and leadership skills.
* Study abroad experience.
