Position Summary
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assembling merchandise, prioritizing merchandise for assembly, performing product pre-delivery inspections, and ordering product parts required for assembly. Also assists customers in locating, selecting, demonstrating, and loading of merchandise. You will assemble items that include: gas & charcoal grills, patio furniture, fire pits, fireplaces, wheelbarrows, mowers & tractors -- based on the customers' requests.
Job Requirements:
Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week, including weekends & holidays. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
THE USE OF POWER EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
Experience in use of various hand & power tools in order to assemble items as explained above. Must be able to work with minimal to no supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
3 months experience assembling common household goods (e.g., barbecue grills, wheelbarrow, patio furniture) OR 3 months mechanical/ trade/construction experience (e.g., laborer, oil change shop).
