General Laborer

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a General Laborer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently recruiting General Laborers for one of our clients in Milford, MA! Job Responsibilities: * Perform all assembly, autoclaving, glasswashing and column Clean In Place (CIP) activities. * Perform Manufacturing Suite cleaning and sanitization in compliance with CGMP regulations. * Pack chromatography columns. * Lead chromatography operations as part of the product purification process. * Document procedures accurately in accordance with GMP and GDP requirements. * Participate in Quality Working Teams and Continuous Improvement Teams * Stock department supplies. * Receive and distribute supplies. * Handle removal and disposal of hazardous waste. * May perform safety and cGMP inspections or observations. * May assist in training of new employees. Requirements: Familiarity with CGMP manufacturing and SOPs. * Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Able to read and follow detailed written instructions and have good verbal/written communication skills. * Results oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. * Good computer skills including Word and Excel. * Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures. * Able to correctly complete high school-level mathematics and work with both the metric and USA standards of measurement. * Basic knowledge of Cell Culture and Purification desirable. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related discipline with up to 2 years of related work experience; or AS degree with 2-4 years of related experience; or High School diploma and 4-6 years of work experience in a CGMP manufacturing environment. Biotechnology Certificate is a plus. Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Third shift differential applies. Contract Length: 1 Year. Pay: $17.50/hr.
