Position Summary

With limited supervision, this position will coordinate retail marketing efforts at Key Account retailers (RKA) in the US, providing marketing services that ensure the TaylorMade and Adams brand image meets guidelines and objectives. Coordinates and develops the execution of branded communication materials for product launch activation, retail training & education, and consumer events/experiences for account-specific initiatives. Scope of coverage includes TaylorMade and Adams brands -- Equipment, balls and accessories.

Programs include, but are not limited to, product launch activation (developing/deploying assets in-store/web/email/print/etc), training tools, store events such as demo/promotions/athlete appearances, retail footprints & shop-in-shops, account-specific co-op initiatives such as advertising/PR, sales contests and incentives, etc. Also includes marketing support/programming for green grass (management groups & HPS), the corporate channel

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

* Serve as primary marketing liaison between global marketing and TaylorMade/Adams sales team/accounts for Key Account, Green Grass, and Management Groups facilitating opportunity recognition, solution implementation, communication processes and problem solving as needed. Specific focus on delivering consumer and customer experiences around key product launch periods.

* Make go-forward recommendations to the brand and retail marketing team in the development and execution of TaylorMade and Adams consumer-facing marketing programs to be implemented across retail channels.

* Partner with Product Marketing (equipment, ball, accessories) and Sales to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product portfolio, account assortment plans, distribution strategies and sell-thru.

* Support retail training content & product education experiences with experiential team as needed

* Partner with Brand Marketing to maintain consistent messaging and identity in all account-specific marketing materials

* Partner with Visual Merchandising & Environments lead to initiate briefs and execute retail programs by providing logistical support, e.g. coordinating distribution lists, account approvals and implementation.

* Partner with Experiential team on developing and executing promotional assets and coordinate events as needed.

* Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues or problems that affect marketing projects.

* Coordinate internal and account feedback and approvals for assigned projects.

* Manage and reconcile project budgets.

* Performs other responsibilities as required

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field preferred.

* 2-3 years of brand or retail marketing experience within a consumer goods company, or equivalent account management experience

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

* Solid understanding of account relationships and business transactions

* Broad understanding of brand management and how all facets of the marketing mix can influence consumer behavior, market performance, competitive dynamics, etc.

* Ability to identify in-market opportunities, define success criteria, develop an execution plan, manage to completion, measure outcomes, apply learning/insights

* Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with highly developed attention to detail and follow-through

* Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks is required.

* Experience managing individuals and/or cross-functional teams is preferred.

* Passion for sports required, with passion/interest/knowledge for golf preferred

* Excellent computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

* Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials

* Office environment

* Regular travel required (estimated 25%)

* Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.
