Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring that all shipping or receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.

Principal Accountabilities

Responsible for understanding all processes in shipping/receiving operations to ensure quality fulfillment services

Prepare paperwork and assemble orders for shipment

Complete required paperwork and time-tracking documentation

Verify receipts and orders for accuracy, note damage exceptions on bill of lading

Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items

Ensure all product is restocked according to established procedures

Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories

Assist in loading/unloading trucks when necessary

Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations

Safe and efficient operation of all power operated equipment

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area; comply with all safety and quality policies

Ensure all work performed follows required Quality Control (QC) processes

Ensure ISO quality is achieved Correctly, Efficiently, and On-Time (CEO) (If applicable)

May be responsible for inbound and outbound scheduling

Regular and punctual attendance

Respectful and non-threatening treatment of others

All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent preferred • 2 years warehouse experience • 1 year shipping/receiving experience preferred • Basic math, reading, and communication skills • Experience in Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PC applications with the ability to learn required software applications to perform this function • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions (In English) • Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy • Ability to work in a team environment • Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30-day period • Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment • Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, twisting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time Shift hours Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm Plus over time.
