Sales Representative Inbound

Job Summary:

This position answers incoming customer traffic, over the phone or on-line, to present and sell company products.

Primary Functions:

• Respond promptly to all incoming customer contact, via the phone or on-line channels to present and sell company products
• Support customers with product selection through presentation of features and benefits
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new residential customers
• Assist residential customers to resolve product, service and delivery concerns
• Work with store and corporate personnel to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer concerns

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to type 50 wpm for Live Person online customer interaction
• Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English
• Ability to speak and present information effectively to customers, clients and other members of the organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED, required;
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university, preferred
• One to three years related experience and/or training, preferably in phone sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience
