Compensation:
Salary + Commission + Bonus ($30,000-$50,000+ annually; based on performance) Benefits package also available
Smart Gym is an exciting, new health and fitness brand that is based in the greater Phoenix, AZ area and is now expanding into Utah! We service the community by streamlining efficiency in the areas of fitness and wellness, as well as provide remarkable customer service to make every member feel valued and welcome. Smart Gym is a premium fit club within our community and we are looking for bright and dynamic people to help maintain our standard of human captial as we expand. Due to these growth plans, we are able to offer unique succession plans that are unprecedented throughout the industry and will be very selective with the talent we choose to bring on board.
Within the Membership department, the Membershp Consultant must be a person of high energy, character, and integrity. A distinct element of charisma is also a key component of success, as well. Each MC sets the tone for the department as a whole within the club and must possess the leadership skills necessary to maintain all standards that are set. The ideal candidate is extremely personable, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads for the club and book prospective members with appointments to tour the facility
- Provide first-class tours of our facilities to prospects and sell customized memberships
- Work with the Sales Manager and to ensure best practices are being utilized with each prospect, both inside and outside the facility
- Work with the Fitness Manager to ensure each new member is set up with their introductory fitness consultation
- Manage leads to ensure that leads book appointments, appointments show up, and missed guests follow up to join at a pre-designated date
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Audit and manage documentation of trainer programming and progress tracking
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Set a positve example for all staff members within the club
- Assist in any other necessary duties to increase overall profitability and success of the club
