We have a full-time opening for a CDL-A / Class A CDL Driver in NW Indiana.
Must be able to work at least 1 shift per week and be available weekdays.
- Must have 1 or more years experience.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Wage: $18.00
Requirements
We are looking for a Class A CDL driver for a re-distributor of food service disposable goods located in the East Chicago, IN area. This is local driving only; no OTR. Drivers service within a 300 mile radius of the East Chicago distribution center and are back at base every night (no overnight stays).
Daily loads can vary from a full truckload to one distributor to a seven or eight stop to many distributors. All drivers are responsible for assisting in unloading, checking in products, handling paperwork and communicating with the office with any discrepancies.
This is a full time, temp to permanent position. Pay starts at $20/hour.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 months experience.
- No more than two moving violations or accidents with the last 3 years.
- Relatively clean MVR that is free of any violations for DUI's, failure to stop, speeding 25 mph or more over the speed limit, reckless/negligent driving, racing or driving on a suspended license. You will be required to provide a copy of your MVR upon application.
- Must be able to comply with background and drug screen requirements.
