Mechanical Test Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Test Engineer

• This person must have a Mechanical Quality and/or Testing background.
• Sound understanding of FEA Testing is a must.
• Must come from a company/industry where a product is assembled.
• This person will receive specs/conditions containing company products and will need to go and test it.
• They will need to collect information and design both manual and automated tests.
• This person will need to generate test reports and be able to go through all specs to ensure that the product meets requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mechanical Test Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (Ideally BSM).
• Strong hand-on mechanical skills necessary (structural mechanics: fastening methods, torque design).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with LabView software is preferred, but not a hard requirement
• Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience with Solidworks.
• Experience with Stress Analysis.
