About this job
UOP Callidus currently has an opening for a Machinist in our Beggs, OK facility.
Responsibilities Include (Under General Supervision):
Operate machines and maintain required tolerances
Minimal set ups on Manual mill, Manual lathe, radial drill.
Trouble shoot and adjust accordingly per the job specifications
Train on the CNC machines when needed
Understand drawings and specifications
Understand gages (calipers, pin gages, thread gages. etc
Obtain and transfer materials to machine manually or with forklift.
Read and interrupts drawings/Prints.
Operates machine to produce parts per work instructions.
Performs routine maintenance on the machine such as cleaning and adjusting.
Notifies lead/supervisor of any maintenance problems.
Works as team player with other members of the department
Must model compliant safety behaviors and a basic understanding of HOS (Honeywell Operating Systems)
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years working as a Machinist
Additional Qualifications:
Basic understanding of gages (Thread gages, calipers, squares, etc.)
Knowledgeable of other machines in area (saws, threader, pipe, bender, rolls, press brake)
Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to use and read tape measure
Ability to work in a team setting
