Radiology Technologist - Bay

The Radiology Technologist performs radiological procedures and assists the physician during surgeries. Ensures the quality and safety of imaging services at the surgery center. Education/Licensure/Certification: Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology Required Current CA X-Ray and Fluoroscopy License Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills: * Significant radiology technologist experience as would typically be obtained in approximately two years of increasingly complex scans/ procedures is required. * Previous experience in surgical environment preferred. * Adult training experience helpful. * Must have a solid working knowledge of proper body mechanics to position patients. * Knowledge of infection control practices and OR traffic patterns required. * Must have an effective working knowledge of applicable standards and regulations. * Must have the ability to communicate well with other healthcare professionals as well as with lay persons * The ability to operate and trouble-shoot x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment required. * BCLS required. * Computer skills are required.
