Composites Tooling Engineer

Using CATIA V5 and simulation softwares, the candidate will be required to run producibility on composite layups, make appropriate ply edits according to engineering notes and specifications. Plies must be spliced and flat patterns developed according to tool order requirements. Responsible for keeping production laser projectors running and maintaining up to date part (.ply) and tool (.cal) laser projector files.

-Must have CN Programming experience

-experience with 5 axis

-must come from an aerospace background

-a good understanding of machining, tooling, and setups of 5 axis composite parts

-software programs used, catia, enovia, vericut, icam, teamcenter, SAP, microsoft excel, word

-a good background of using Vericut machine simulation to check 5 axis NC programs
