Solar Panel Installer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking Installation Technicians for a Solar Energy company near the Somerset, NJ area. A lot of room for advancement and ability to move into lead role!


MUST HAVES:

1. 1+ years of Construction experience in a Residential setting - ideally as a Carpenter or Roofer

2. Ability to climb ladders and work on a pitched residential roof

3. Ability to lift 50+ pounds

The Installer position is a contributing member of a solar installation construction crew. The Installer is responsible to work as a team with the Foreman and Lead Installer to complete small commercial solar installation projects.

Will be working with Installation crews who work in a team environment installing solar arrays at residential customer's homes. Installers and their teams ensure accurate and timely solar installations, update Branch Managers on project and specifics, and utilize best installation and safety practices

Installation of the mechanical systems of ground or roof mounted solar system;
Assemble the racking and solar array;
Assemble equipment along with properly sealing all roof penetrations;
Trenching, concrete work and equipment assembly;
Project clean up including client site and installation vehicle
