Part Time, Evening & Weekend Schedules
Madison Square Garden
The Madison Square Garden Company is seeking customer focused candidates to work live events at Madison Square Garden, the World's Most Famous Arena. Candidates must be 18 years of age, authorized to work in the United States, and committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere and memorable guest experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities include:
* providing a safe and secure environment at Madison Square Garden's Arena, and Theatre
* providing security for a load-in or load-out
* guarding network trailers and performer equipment
* assuring that the streets are safe and free from scalpers
* assisting with ingress and egress
* checking bags in the mall
* escorting patrons, clients, employees, artists, performers and players into and out of Madison Square Garden
* Covering various indoor and outdoor posts as assigned
The ideal candidate will have a valid NYS Security License and Fire Guard License, along with security experience and an understanding of security procedures/guest relations, as well as be an active member of Local 177. In addition, you must have familiarity with camera, two-way radios, Closed Circuit Television Systems and other security devices. The team player and self motivator we seek will have a high energy, excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively service guests, clients and employees. Candidate must also be able to work flexible hours, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
