Part Time, Evening & Weekend Schedules
Madison Square Garden
The Madison Square Garden Company is seeking customer focused candidates to work live events at Madison Square Garden, the World's Most Famous Arena. Candidates must be 18 years of age, authorized to work in the United States, and committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere and memorable guest experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities include:
* Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous and accurate manner
* Handling multiple tasks associated with opening, during service and closing times
* Assisting with many different stations, including but not limited to, concession stands, backstage bars, yogurt stations, snack bars, main floor, food stations, coffee stations and the coke machine
* Refilling dispensers, wiping down counters and tables, and obtaining ice for machines
* Assisting with concession set ups, replenishes food, condiments, and paper goods as needed
The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance and demeanor, work well under pressure and be of legal age according to NYS regulations to serve alcohol. Excellent communication skills, a commitment to high-quality customer service and the ability to thrive in a high pressure environment is essential, as is the ability to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays. Candidate should also be comfortable cleaning tables and chairs, throwing out garbage, assisting guests, and anticipating their needs. Knowledge of NYC Board of Health Food Handling rules a plus. TEAM certification a plus.
