Part Time, Evening & Weekend Schedules
Madison Square Garden
The Madison Square Garden Company is seeking customer focused candidates to work live events at Madison Square Garden, the World's Most Famous Arena. Candidates must be 18 years of age, authorized to work in the United States, and committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere and memorable guest experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities include:
* preparing food items and selling products to fans in a friendly & courteous manner
* maintaining cleanliness of assigned location
* processing cash, charging transactions and assisting supervisors with timely set-up and breakdown of all work areas
* operating a cash register and may be required to prepare food if necessary
* ensuring each guest receives outstanding guest service by adhering to the company's Circle of Service standards
* accurately and efficiently completing all transactions in register
* communicating guests requests to stand level supervisors or area supervisors
To qualify, you must have good communication skills, a commitment to high-quality customer service, and be able to handle a high-pressure environment. Prior cashier or food prep experience is required, as is an understanding of food handling guidelines according to the NYC Board of Health requirements. And the ability to maintain a clean work area. In addition, you should be comfortable with heights, able to handle heavy lifting to stock work areas, maintain a clean work area, and complete daily and nightly inventory. The ability to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays is a must.
